Trend Forecast: What To Expect

This is the most exciting time of the year, when seasons change and new trends are announced. Pantone® released its annual list of predictions for Spring/Summer 2021 and we are here for it! This usually will set precedence for the fashion and home design industry in the upcoming months.

Behr Pro has also curated a palette broken down into neutrals, pastels, eclectic and dramatic colours which offer a large selection suited for anyones taste. They quote “this palette ushers in more of what the world needs right now: elevated comfort.” Colour evokes so much feeling so its refreshing to see a selection to help uplift our moods after months of quarantine. These colours can also be used in many different space in your home.

Benjamin Moore® announced their colour of year and it is called Aegean Teal and is the most perfect balance of soothing comfort. Their goal was to achieve a colour palette that allows you to soak in all the harmonious elements of your home.

Some other great predictions in trends to look out for is focusing on maximizing space as much as possible as most of the masses were compelled to work from home this past year. We have had to adapt and make smart approaches to where and how we work from home. Setting aside living space for work space is key for having multifunctional spaces. More clean spaces and touches of greenery that add a breath of fresh air. All in all, creating timeless looks that can evolve throughout the years is a trend that will never go out of style!
